Do you ever bump into guys you blocked on Grindr irl?

I'm not saying I just passed by who I think I passed few days ago...but I'm not not saying that either ... :katie:

Do you ever have this happen to you? If so when and how did you react?

Can't say it happens to me ever. I live in a pretty big city, and I guess I don't block people enough to notice. Or I just forget what they look like :coffee:

omg yeah. if i notice before they do then i'll like turn and go somewhere else, but if they've been looking at me i'll smile and leave as fast as i can

Yes was out on a walk and we passed each other. He gave me a side eye :deadbanana4:

Don’t use grindr but does Instagram count? :rip:

Yes. One particular instance a few years ago really creeped me out. I got a message from a guy on Grindr going on about how he saw me walking past a particular spot every day on my way to the gym, and how I looked in my gym clothes etc. Very detailed and creepy messages about what he would do to me in my gym shorts etc :rip: I told him he was a creep and blocked him.

Maybe two weeks later, I was getting lunch at a diner with a friend and he happened to be the waiter and clearly recognized me :rip: I really wanted to slide under the table and hide :rip:

yes.

there was this one guy i met up with one night, when i got there i got creepy vibes from him and he was kinda ugly irl so i left before doing anything. since then he'd made over 20 accounts to talk to me (id block him each time). there have been MULTIPLE times where ive been walking in public and hes just started walking alongside me talking to me like we're friends.

Scary tbh

I had someone like that once but fortunately I haven’t run into him again in person, I dread the day it happens though :mazen:

I’m a flight attendant so more often than I’d like I’m stuck on a 10+ hour flight with someone I blocked on Grindr :rip:

I recently ran into a a guy I blocked on Grindr during the pandemic. I then stupidly invited him out to a gig last week and just found him very unpleasant to be around. He was causing fights and almost got me into trouble with work, so he’s blocked again.

I have a long block list so probably :swan:

yes, he looked cute in his pics but after some small talk and him sharing his taste in music i became uninterested so i ignored him. a few weeks later i was at urban outfitters and he was working the checkout which gave me a jumpscare

he looked waaay different and not as attractive so i dodged a bullet

I had said hi to a guy on grindr and blocked me. When he saw me at a bar, he tried to talk to me.

omfgg this happened to me be but from tinder, while on a date with another guy :deadbanana4: I was PRAYING there wasn’t nut in my food or something because he literally got my table…hopefully a coincidence

I had to block him because he got sexual way too fast and just gave bad vibes, even after sending 1 word messages to show I wasn’t feeling it he kept sending nudes.

I’m struggling to see the purpose of this thread :rip:

Like yes, it is very normal and common to see people in real life that you saw on an app that shows you everyone physically located near you. Are people just supposed to despawn once you’re done with them?

Yes, twice. I just looked away and kept going. :skull:

I ignore most messages on my Grindr since they are just asking for sex, so I never had to block anyone since I don't even engage in further conversations. I did block one guy I went on a date with after he said he had over 20+ body count just from last year :rip: instant red flag

It's very rare for me personally, to bump into someone I blocked on Grindr when I'm out & about. So I was just curious to see just how common it is :rip:. Turns out it's more than I thought...

Trust your instincts, bb! :gaygacat7:

OP: It's happened to me but they usually just give me side-eye and pretend I don't exist afterwards. :rip:

i’ve blocked few people on grindr, but when i still lived in Boulder this happened ONCE. he was really creepy. here in Denver, nope. gays on grindr are f*cking asssholes in general so i try to not take things to heart and i don’t usually block anyone. when people block me it irritates me but i’ve been on grindr for so long that it …just happens. grindr gays get so confused by me cause i’m not clean cut at all lol (guess i’m not like those other girls 🤪)
