Is ir better than The Jungle Book live action?

Yeah this wasn't getting a sequel even without the slap

What about the spin-off focusing on that blonde prince from this movie? Is that also cancelled?

Oh the first one was amazing but I’ll take it since that’s a L for Guy Ritchie ♥️

Wasn’t the sequel supposed to focus on that dopey Prince who fancied Jasmine? I’m still bitter they didn’t turn Jafar into a snake like the original movie.

Truly loathed watching this at the cinema at the time and was completely baffled by the praise; awful CGI, awful Jafar, lifeless versions of the songs (especially Prince Ali; speaking of which Will Smith was all-round just a let down). The only thing that worked for me was Jasmine.

It wasn't even the best live-action Disney of its year for me; I thought The Lion King better translated the tone of its animated original and its photorealistic effects made it a far better movie visually. Even Mistress of Evil was more fun, better camp and had better set pieces.

I've yet to see them all but from the ones I have seen Beauty and the Beast remains the best, most sweeping live-action musical and the one I would happily put on again; followed by Cinderella and Cruella. The Little Mermaid is coming though I fear.

Honestly! Every background, every scene was just so ugly, lifeless and fake looking.

if we ignore the sketchy cgi, the cringe Jasmine song and the villain, it wasn't that bad

This is what they get for not including Jafar's epic snake transformation.

Out of all the sequels that were completely unnecessary they cancel this :'( I was kinda looking forward to it

my issue wasn't with the song itself but with the performance :dies: way too dramatic

I never saw the original so I don't have nostalgia for it

It was like a music video in the middle of a movie. So weird and unnecessary.

These remakes are just overdone and while not bad, just have failed to add much so far. The only good one was Christopher Robin which added something new.
