Kiska, world's loneliest orca, dies at 47 at Marineland after 40 years of captivity

She spent her last decade in a cramped tank secluded from her family

She lost all 5 of her children who all passed before age of 7

After being captured from the wild in 1979, she spent her life in various marine parks before ending up at Marineland, where she spent the last twelve years of her life in solitary confinement. Her last peer was sent to SeaWorld in 2011

The people that did this to her deserve everything coming to them. Awful stuff

How terrible to see these magnificent animals held captive and basically tortured like that, these kind of marine parks are abhorrent.
