99sandthe2000s Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 the adlibs, the outro, the choreo it's a summer smash in the making! Renee ATE, I've been drawn to her since Cardboard Box and she killed that intro verse.
mathekr Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 This might be their best release yet. Such a strong catalog already, they only need better push to breakthrough
Lucky#17 Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 FANTASTIC. Instantly my favorite song from them. When they harmonize over Missy in the bridge...

Hooligan Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 (edited) Dope! This’ll probably go on deaf ears here, but this reminded me so much of 106 & Park, with the Missy feature especially. I can’t wait for their album. EDIT: WAIT, the video was released too? I’ll be back in about 5 minutes… Edited March 23, 2023 by Hooligan
That Bad Eartha Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 57 minutes ago, Flare said: This was a really good video and the song is strong too. The song goes on a bit long though I guess because of Missy’s verse and the outro chorus. It’s definitely more of the old style of music and not the tiktok ready style. With that said, I just can’t get into FLO. Their aesthetic just feels unclear sometimes because they’re never fully channeling the 2000s (except carboard box) and they’re not doing the things the more modern girl groups do such as great choreography/dance moments, live productions, cgi, etc. (see Little Mix, BlackPink, NewJeans, even Fifth Harmony), so idk. I still think they’ll be successful if they keep pushing, nothing I said means they’ll flop. They have a nice lil Twitter fanbase building, it’ll need to crossover to tiktok/the rest of Gen Z though for them to fully take over (because girl group fanbases are always the youngest demographics first). I mean they literally just are getting started. It isn't really fair to expect insane choreo or huge production value from them right out the gate. Honestly I think the more subdued production/style is part of the appeal at a time when girl groups are feeling like they are often just made in a factory. They are focused on vocals first and everything else will come with time.
Adama Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 I really wonder how they’re going to performs this ! They always do sick rearrangement but I’m wondering if they’re really going to performs and dance ???
tbhmatt Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 Haven’t listened to the full thing yet but delighted to see the positive reviews on here. They’re the most exciting girl group we’ve had in years, really hope this is their big breakthrough moment
