The Last of Us is closely following what’s already been made. The creators have already said they won’t be extending past the games. I'm excited to start watching it tbh, just waiting for the season to end.

When somebody cites PRETTY LITTLE LIARS as an all time great, it has to be trolling.

How many episodes so far? There’s 8 episodes with the season finale coming this Sunday! I highly recommend!
magazine Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 No. It's a very mid series with some good episodes

TWD was an absolute phenomenon that was neck and neck (if not bigger) than GOT from season 1 till about 6ish, then outright died when Glenn was killed

TWD was an absolute phenomenon that was neck and neck (if not bigger) than GOT from season 1 till about 6ish, then outright died when Glenn was killed I’ll always have a love for TWD and I’m not going to tear it down to build TLOU up, but it did fizzle out for me. It had me hooked for the first few seasons and then you got the impression that the people working on the show didn’t really know what they were doing. I also didn’t like how repetitive it was becoming with them moving to one area, it being destroyed and them moving to another area, it being destroyed etc. Then when TLOU came out I became obsessed with that and its strengths made TWD’s weaknesses stand out more. Because in TLOU they actually had a plot they were heading towards. It was an actual journey. Whereas in TWD, there never seemed to be a destination. Then you also had cast members leaving which you can tell drastically altered the way some storylines were supposed to play out. Then, to top it off, they ended the show by setting up multiple spin-offs which is just so messy to me. I didn’t feel any closure when I watched the finale. It was basically just a “to be continued” moment.
PennywiseTheClown Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 It's a very good show, well executed. But I don't get the massive hype honestly. Like others said it's been (succesfully) done before plenty of times. Only Stephen King already has many works that cover the "human aspect" of an apocalyptic world. Also the "romantic" episodes bored me so much. So predictable, and dragged out waay too much. I am usually a sucker for LGBT drama, but the Bill & Frank episode was completely unnecessary + out of place & the Ellie romance plot was extremely basic. For a show with so few episodes it's really a waste of time
Specter Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 No but I'm sure it'll be remembered as a very good show. Which is fine, is it not? TWD S1-5 will remain the standard for Zombie shows, though technically TLoU isn't even one.
Patient Zero Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 Yes. Going to watch again once all eps are out. Amazing show so far. Can't wait to see how they will tackle the MASSIVE Part II.
Gladiator Posted March 9, 2023 Posted March 9, 2023 It already is, I'm sorry to say to the haters!!!!!

Weld_E Posted March 9, 2023 Posted March 9, 2023 It’s a great show, but it is nowhere near the greatest. The plot is straightforward and the acting is solid, but nothing other shows haven’t done. People who are hyping it up were already big fans of the game, and are happy to see a good game adaptation on TV. I doubt it would be this acclaimed if it was a standalone show.
