How is the viewingship still increasing? Reminds me of Adele's 21 chart run.

Word of mouth is a powerful thing.

That’s a lot of people seeing Bella’s award winning performance.

Truly amazing.

So many of my coworkers were talking about it before our meeting started. A few of us managed to convince others to pick it up.

the games are my favourite of all time and the story/characters are universally agreed to be among the best of all time when it comes to  the video game plots/characters but I NEVER expected the TV show to smash this hard, like I honestly thought only hardcore fans of the games will be even interested, ESP after the controversy of Part II, but yet here we are :deadbanana2:

the best thing here is that they can now maybe re-write and improve the plot of Part II since it def was not as strong as Part 1, mostly the pacing, but yeah I am so happy to see this universe becoming a major part of the mainstream conversation outside gaming circles, it truly feels...correct

King Pedro leading the two biggest shows right now :deadbanana:. He's the moment.

Why would they rewrite any of the plot to the game that broke the record for most Game of the Year wins?

Not sure why people think anything like that is happening. Very far fetched.

What kind of flop opinion :skull: Part II is WAY stronger and more impactful of a story. Part I is a cute girl but cute next to gorgeous...

When Ellie gets her tattoo and turns into a stud icon >>>>>>>>.

The sapphics will be quaking over Bella in 2 years time. And I personally will be dragging every single person who has a negative thing to say about King Lev.

Part two was better than part one.... which is saying A LOT. The first one left a huge mark on me but part two? My friend and I didn't say a word when the credits rolled and just.... felt empty. In a way the game intended.

I probably worded my thoughts wrong, I love part II just as much as part I, it improves on the gameplay, graphics everything, the story feels bigger and more emotional, however, the only thing that I personally have a problem with Part II is the pacing and how if they change that it would make the story even better

the thing I would rewrite would be the order of events, I would not enjoy having the entire 3 days restart when Abby and Lev ambush Ellie and co.

I think we should have everything intertwined a lot more and Abby's twist should actually be revealed prior to Joel's death - if they do this and also pick some amazing actress who would be able to pull off the pain of losing her father the audience would be much more invested in her as a character and the entire conflict around Joel dying would hit much harder and then people would enjoy the parts of her story a lot more. I think actually if we remove the idiots who hated the game from the start this was the biggest reason people who were objective hated Abby so much and I understand that as a game Naughty Dog wanted to give players to control her as some sort of ''can you forgive her'' test which I think worked  well in the context of the game, but in a TV show form we will def spend a lot less time with Abby so making us understand her from the start would be a better idea

I agree with you that they should tell the days in Seattle linearly but no no NO to revealing Abby's reason prior to the big event. Not knowing who or why is a vital part of the story and amplifies the emotions of what happens. Revealing that beforehand is a terrible idea.
