She was a very excellent and proficient vocalist during her 90s peak. But IMO, I wouldn't put her in the very most upper echelon of transcendent voices.

saw her last night and she’s improved so much (not that she was ever bad!), I was in awe. she has much more control now and imo it really makes everything hit more emotionally
