Her magnum opus I fear - unfortunately, very few appreciate the art of this gem

Abstinence and consent anthem "Don't Tell Me" that combines toughness with vulnerability 

 

Breakup anthem "My Happy Ending"

 

Homeless advocacy anthem "Nobody's Home"

 

Melancholy anthem "Fall to Pieces"

 

 

Pop punk anthem "He Wasn't" that could've fit on Love Sux

 

It's lyrical content and melodies, so mature for her age, some songs like slipped away, fall to pieces or nobody's home are just heartbreaking. her best album by far.

The fact that it’s easily her second or perhaps worst album I guess 

we better get the 20th anniversary edition with some outtakes for this one too! .. she was only 19 (!!) wow, i really adore this album, slipped away, together, how does it feel, nobody's home, fall to pieces, who knows.. my happy ending has always been my anthem. THEE ALBUM.

I came here to drag it for not being as good as Let Go but wow, the singles are immaculate

"Who Knows" cured my depression better than any medication could

I always fight myslef in terms what album I prefer as her best one beween Under My Skin or Let Go

- The take Me Away intro is fire, then explotes at the chorus

- Lyrics are

- My Happy Ending is Top 3 best song of her entire career

- Dont Tell Me & Noboys Home as singles

- The 2 Ballads Slipped Away & How Does It Feel

Yessss Take Me Away is soo amazing 

 

BREAK ME AWAYYYYYYYY

Her best album. It just feels fully realized, cohesive, void of corny lyrics unlike Let Go, beautiful melodies, and gut punching songs like DTM, HE, FTP…a masterpiece.
 

And Best Damn Thing is second best.

The lyrics, the vocals, the melodies, the production, the harmonies, the album art, etc.

 

She really put her whole Melissussy into that album 

Not her best but damn, she made several points with this. 

Such a great record.

Her best Album not a single skip.
