from 2017-2022, she's been serving OUT-OUT-OUT-OUT-OUT-OUT despite having 2 albums over 10 billion streams. 

 

Dua is still getting faceless artist accusations to this day because of this. Most MPGs have entered the IFPI artist chart at least once in their career since the chart inception - except her.

 

You may argue she only has 2 albums BUT Billie entered the chart in 2019 with 2 projects 25 songs and Olivia charted in 2021 with 1 album 11 songs

No but her 3rd album will enter

the female all time top 10 on spotify

with her other 2.

Of course not, her 3rd “album” will just be another singles collection that breaks more TTH records and she will keep tacking collaborations on to an ultra-deluxe re-release until it somehow ends up at 15 billion streams

I want to see her free streams to paid streams ratio. It doesn't make sense that she has not entered the artist chart unless majority of her streams came from free spotify users

I realize both wwafa and sour are standard albums. If you put it like that Dua should have more advantage with re-releases of deluxe

Doesn’t the IFPI Artist Chart consist of all formats including physical? I think the reason why Olivia was able to make the top 10 was because Sour’s pure sales were really good. Dua is a streaming monster but she admittedly doesn’t sell much pure, that’s not her strength.

 

Regardless, her third album will both have another smash hit single and will have global domination and pressed users like the one some posts above will just have to deal with it 

I’m sure the album and atleast one global smash hit will make the Top 10

 

Her label is about to show us the true meaning of auto-play payola. I have no doubt

Ariana also didn't enter the Top 10 until like her fourth album? They're 100% streaming girls and, Dua especially, is a bigger singles artist than album. 

I love how ATRL pretends to care about this whatever chart when nobody discussed this 5 years ago and nobody in the real world cares. What people do care is streaming her bops and paying tickets to see her on tour!

She is extremely dependent on spotify playlisting, her streams aren't as high on other platforms.

It depends what time of the year she releases and how much hard it smashes immediately. The problem with FN was that it success was spread over 2020 and 2021 so it made the album list twice but Dua was only 14th on the artist list in 2021. If that success had been condensed into a single year Dua definitely would’ve made the top 10. She has a much better chance with this album due to a bigger catalogue but she’ll still need the album’s success to be focused on one year to make the list.

Assuming the album is coming late this year it will be spread out over 2023 and 2024 again nn, but anyway we love longevity!

Nope because her pure sales are tragic. Radio payola and TTH can't compete with real numbers.

She entered Top 10 on her 5th year as an artist with 4 albums and only like 18+ official singles, Dua on her 5th year in the game had like 2 albums out and around 15+ singles, the fact that she nearly matches Ariana's singles count for their first 5 years and even with Dua in in her 8th year, 2023 (that's like 22+ singles) still struggling to chart in the artists chart speaks more about the longevity of her album tracks.

 

Ariana has extremely strong catalog streams alongside massive massive hits because she has a significantly big and loyal fanbase, Dua has even bigger smashes than Ariana but the catalog numbers just don't hold up when she's out of the promo cycle. I hope that changes with DL3 because Dua exhibits so much Katy Perry mania its scary, a few missteps would tank her career.

And yet she is nowhere to be seen in the global artist chart unlike her peers Dua and Olivia who made it with 1 less album (and 3 times less singles).

And yet she’s appeared a song in the Top 10 of the ifpi chart for the past three consecutive years and has a $100M+ grossing tour
 

No one is denying Billie having a bigger fanbase than Dua or SOUR’s album tracks being bigger than FN’s, but Dua is doing extremely well for herself. Obviously having cultivated a fanbase (no matter how big or small) and a lot of GP interest, enough to have a blockbuster tour that rivals Billie’s and the biggest hits out of her peers
