Funny how radio is a problem the second Beyonce starts bagging hits outside of the George Bush Administration. It was all fun and games while it lasted. 

It is a problem because it is an outdated system that keeps her afloat. If would be one thing if she was crushing it on streaming and radio. I mean, 10 million streams and everyone else is 30m and up. Lol.

We are talking about stats, not tributes. Michael Jackson carries on his own merit. Can’t say the same for Beyonce who is never high ranking on any lists that deals with hardcore stats.

Beyonce carries on her own merit as well. You're not tuning into Jackson 5 becasue of Tito and Jermaine. You don't care about DC because of Kelly and Latoya.

 

So give Bey her credit. Meanwhile arguing about putting black artists success down in another thread cause fonts are dragging SZA. But of course that goes out the window when discrediting Beyonce. 

Lol MJ stans add Jackson 5 in his stats all the time. As a matter of fact when Armani makes threads about J5's Xmas songs, he just says MJ's Ben reached a new peak or MJ's Santa is back to town.

I'm looking at 5 songs on this chart that are top 10 or went top 10 with similar stats to Cuff It. Some of these songs don't have as many streams as Cuff It. Several of these songs have had more radio amd versions than Cuff It.

 

But of course you wouldn't ever hop in a thread discrediting them. Mind you Beyonce has the older song outside of one of them. 

 

Beyonce wins in an " outdated system" that benefits many artists. And it was all fun and games when Beyonce didn't do even half of what some of them did to chart well.

- The highest grossing female touring artists of all time? She's #2 behind Madonna so far. 

- The highest grossing black artists of all time : #1. 

- The best selling digital artist of all time : she is #3 of all time after Eminem. 

 

 

All this arguing over Beyoncé when the facts are simple. She's top 10 on the Hot 100 right now and she debuted in the 90's as part of Destiny's Child. 

 

You're not going to say Diana Ross, Paul McCartney and John Lennon all debuted in the 70's either or that Lionel Richie debuted in the 80's because they were part of a group the decade before. Those are exactly the same.

 

But let's celebrate the lack of ageism and variety in the top 10 instead
