Saintlor Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 (edited) Having money and owning a house and having loved ones does make the majority of people happy though No need to pretend otherwise to be edgy Edited March 4, 2023 by Saintlor
Almodusa Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 Cuz that can be a pretty personal question, especially when asked by a stranger. Marriage on the other hand is a more public status (ex: wedding ring)

They can be components of a happy life, but not what gives it to you. Ultimately the money, house, and perfect looking family is to make you look happy. I’m not saying you can’t be happy with these things, but there are staggering numbers of people who have everything and are absolutely miserable. Asking someone if they are happy is far too personal. That's a question a close friend or family member would ask. Not a person you just met, where asking about your career, if your married, etc are okay and considered topical questions.

Also mantaining that alone can be a struggle, just going from day to day life thinking about nurturing relationships and working to mantain your fortune can be overwhelming and honestly depressing
