Because you lack taste in music clearly.  Both Monica & Xtina always serve quality top 10s. I simply can’t choose between theses two! 

among  my favorite females of that   era . with the second group a songs being my favorite by each and maybe a tie Christina win 6 vs 5 for Monica.

It's crazy that Christina Aguilera only has 7 Top 10 songs from her own discography 

 

Monica for all except MLJ by Maroon 5 (feat. Christina Aguilera) which is better.

 

Monica was it. 

Monica for everything and I love Christina. 

It's just 90's and 00's RnB was soooo much better than any and all pop that was being produced back then. 

 

This isn't shade to Xtina this is me just letting everyone know that pop took a while to get as good as RnB. Only in the late 00's do it start to get there. Thank You Gaga. Christina did make an incredible album with Stripped but Radio wasn't ready for it back then and the singles showcasing more RnB influenced songs didn't chart. 

 

But this thread isn't about singles it's about top ten singles and Monica has Christina beat. 

 

Until Beautiful and Ain't No Other Man. Those are hard to choose from.

I don't really care for Monica's debut tbh, The Boy Is Mine's singles are absolute fire though and So Gone is great too. Overall Christina still wins to me.
