Yep. He was the songwriter in Fun. I was shocked too. 

Apparently everyone disregarded his production abilities and told him to stick to songwriting until Taylor allowed him to produce Sweeter Than Fiction

Taylor has changed career trajectory of so many artists now some for good somw for worse

 

Jack and Aaron becoming so big is really amazing

Carly Rae, Tegan & Sara, and Sara Bareilles really changed the trajectory of his career tbh, seeing as they were the first artists to work with him. Every artist who’s worked with him since has been cheaply imitating one of those three.

 

He would just be known as part of a one-era wonder band if not for them tbh
