But AFAIK Taylor and Rihanna have never had a feud nor were they competing with each other. Taylor’s biggest album was released during Rih’s hiatus.

From what I recall as a stan of both was the rumors about The Superbowl. I think Taylor was rumored to be the performer then Rih was announced or something I can't remember which exactly and then I recall seeing stuff from both fanbases about the Golden Globes (even though both lost  ) then Taylor not getting the Oscar nomination and now TIWYCF

It's the swifties calling Taylor the streaming queen which Rihanna was previously called.

Rihanna is the Streaming Queen because she continues to smash even without releasing albums. It's just annoying that swifties cannot accept that fact so the navy has to retaliate.
