Last ism/phobia you witnessed in real life?

What's the last ism/phobia you witnessed irl? We all know ****'s getting weird out here & the unhinged are letting you know what's good with them.

The most recent ism I witnessed might be one of the thousands of micro-aggressions I get daily from certain people (so maybe racism).

Also, another one was last summer, while I was on the TTC (Toronto Transit) when the subway passed a stop that leads to the gay village (Church & Wellesley). On the platform, there was, of course an ad with a gay couple, and pressed old white dude just muttered "f**king f@ggots" as a knee-jerk :ahh:

On a train like 3 weeks ago, there was a rainbow poster promoting Worldpride ripped to literal SHREDS and it was SUPER SUPER messed up but I think one of the train workers stuck it back on. It was such a kii honestly :ahh::eatpopcorn:

Just read about Florida or Tennessee in the news.

My father, who is black, got into an argument with a man at Walmart. In the course of the argument, the man said "welcome to America" which we took to mean "if you don't like the way we do things here, go back where you came from." So my father said "I'm from Cleveland, motherfucker!"

My colleagues  posted a link about  a trans person  wedding in a like a casual chit chat WhatsApp group everyone from the company is in and proceed to ''joke'' how covid did not hit us hard enough and the usual misgendering of the trans person, I actually left the group after that and talked to HR about it, super messy

I went to the gym with my morbidly obese friend (she is 350 lbs and 5'1). while working out, someone walked past her and dropped a note in front of her. the note said "I am so proud of you for going to the gym at your size. you are proving to everyone that you dont need surgery to lose weight, just the right mindset. you are an inspiration to big women everywhere. good luck on your journey girl. "

I gave this desk mirror to this white lady at work because I got a bigger cuter one. Ran into her and asked if she liked it and she gave me a look with her eyebrows and was all I gave it to some BLACK girl that sits close to me cause I already have one. 1st of all how rude cause I was thinking of giving it to someone else or her and I chose her. She coulda given it back.... 😒 And why call her some black girl. Does it matter the race of the person you instantly regifted my gift to. And I was all in not talking to this Karen ever again and then they go and sit her next to me and she's all I get to sit next to my freind! Pft. Been giving her one word answers ever since.
