I mean, Venice ***** is great but I have to say Enchanted, State of Grace, august, cardigan, cowboy like me, New Romantics, Blank Space are all “just as” great to me. It’s hard comparing an alternative pop song to country & pop songs though? They have different criteria they have to meet.

I hate when Taylor and Lana get compared. They are totally different artists with totally different sounds. Their music is not at all comparable. Taylor's music is very safe, very commercial, Lana is the opposite of that.

Venice B**** is probably one of Lana’s worst songs. But yeah, it’s still better than any Taylor songs.

I think yes, Taylor does have songs as good as Venice B*tch. they evoke different moods/auras though so after saying them it might feel incorrect... here goes:

It makes me cringe so much when people bring Lana (or Lorde) songs/albums and compared them to Taylor’s. Taylor doesn’t aspire to make music like Lana’s and her fans and the GP don’t want Taylor to do that too. I don’t know what it is so hard to get? If you think Lana’s music is that superior then go RYM and give 5 stars to her whole discography and end it there. Stop shoving your “taste” down our throat.
