so have y’all …… seen the movie ???? or just read/saw a tweet that said “blackface” ??

It literally was parodying blackface and showing how wrong it was. If anything it was a commentary on how Twitter discourse would be 15 years later.

Exactly, The film is just pure satire, in the best way possible. Why would he be ashamed of that? Twitter is truly the pits and cancel culture is a joke.

blackface is never to be used…….

I’ve always found it a little weird how Tropic Thunder always got a pass for this… I get that it was a commentary on black face itself but would it fly today? Christ no.

I don’t know anyone irl who has seen this movie.
