Coffee was a cute hit for him at the time though. I don't know about it's chart stats, but R&B music listeners seemed to enjoy it.

It's known by heavy R&B listeners but radio payed it dust, it peaked at #22 on Urban Radio. The GP don't really know it.

 

It outlasted its release to a certain extent but that's only cuz of how badly it initially performed.  

 

Only Quickie is more forgotten from his other hits

The original verison pisses me off cuz its basically edited. The verison with Wale is fire especially the outro.

Absolutely agree  the whole album is a slay

I was surprised more people knew the song in casual instances (like people intentionally putting it on in the car), but overall I agree, great sing and album.

 

Though I don't think it would go tiktok viral since Adorn has taken that spot and I don't think multiple artists get tiktok viral smashes unless they're already larger artists, I fear.
