With all due respect, the timeline needs adjusting. 

 

2009 - no solidified hits yet. Falling Down and Tell Me Something I Don't Know both charted but Hollywood Records back then didn't promote eras very well outside of a few songs

 

2010 - Naturally got a radio push, which allowed it to become a hit. Round & Round and A Year Without Rain both charted in the Top 40 but Hollywood Records didn't send the songs to get radio play so they both got screwed. 

 

2011 - Who Says became a moderate sized hit. Clinched a year-end list spot on the 2011 Top 100 Year-End 

 

2012 - Love You Like a Love Song reaches it's peak after a long radio run. It clinched a year-end list spot for 2012. 

 

2013 - Come & Get It becomes a Top 10 hit. Slow Down also peaks in the Top 30 but only Come & Get It made the year-end list. 

 

2014 - The Heart Wants What It Wants became a Top 10 hit at the very end of the year, with its points being counted for the 2015 year-end list, which it made. 

 

2015 - Good For You hit the Top 5 of the Hot 100 and made the year-end list. I Want You To Know with Zedd hit the Top 30, and while it didn't make the year-end list, it managed to do better than any other song from that album Zedd would put out that year.  

 

2016 - Same Old Love goes Top 5 and Hands To Myself goes Top 10 as well as her collab with Charlie Puth with We Don't Talk Anymore. All make the year-end list. 

 

2017 - It Ain't Me with Kygo becomes his only Top 10 hit and Top 40 hit in the US thanks to Selena. Bad Liar and Fetish, while underperformed, still hit the Top 20 and Top 30 and the former got acclaim.
