This is merely a product of random compilation albums where the streams are still attached to the official release, so these are by no means 'new' versions pushed by the artist/label themselves)

 

As for the OP's topic, this isn't much different from the standard tactics every high-profile remix gets. They're extremely tacky and cheap, don't get me wrong, but this has been common practice since the early 2010s with the Britney Spears remix of "S&M", the Missy Elliott remix of "Last Friday Night", or the B.O.B remix of "The One That Got Away"...just to name a few. And newsflash, these tend to be driven by the labels and rarely get much input from the artists themselves, especially when it comes to a rather tame scenario like this one.

 

I thought this remix was rushed and very poorly done, and wouldn't mind if Miley (or SZA) blocks them, so this isn't coming from a place of bias. Sorry I ruined your O_H fun.

I love both Miley and Ariana and Flowers is a great song and Die For You is a boring song but I want Ariana have another #1. Flowers has been #1 for 6 weeks already. Also it's not like anyone can do what Abel and Ari do and get to #1. They have the power to do so.
