I'd say the most surprising entry here is Stevie in the Top Ten... it's not surprising based on what a legend he is...he DESERVES that place but him having debuted in 1962 and being in the Top Ten is a big surprise. WHAT A LEGEND INDEED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The five oldest (based on solo music industry debut albums) entries are:

  • Stevie Wonder (1962) at #11
  • Mariah Carey (1990) at #9
  • Usher (1994) at #8
  • Alicia Keys (2001) at #12
  • Beyoncé (2003) at #2

[EDITED NOW THAT MARIAH HAS JOINED THE LIST]

Frank coming for Top 3 if he ever releases :clap3:

:clap3:I am ready for him to give us a MPB album era, I know it will never happen. But his streaming numbers are so impressive for someone who is so inactive.

Not in the Top 40 R&B artists

The gap between Abel and the rest because I know Bey is somewhere around 15-20 billion.

She hasn't had a smash era in the streaming era so not really surprising

Plus her biggest album came out in 2008 but it was really moderate success

How tf does John Legend have more streams than Alicia Keys

Cuz All Of Me has 2 Billion streams alone :skull:

How is The Weeknd on here? He is more pop.
iIf that’s the case add Michael Jackson to this list

Where is Ciara? :giraffe:

And yeah, if you include The Weeknd you should definitely include Michael Jackson as well.

Beyonce and Mariah the only 90s acts in the Top 10 IKTR!

Edited by MingYouToo

wait so Mariah is R&B but not Whitney? no shade just confused at that.

Stevie being so high tho, that's actually insane for a career that began before some of these acts parents were even born.
