Rihanna's Earned $88.3 million in MIV in the first 12 hours after SB

Featured Replies

Apparently not only did Rihanna's catalogue get the biggest boost from a SB performance so far. Fenty Beauty and Savage x Fenty earned a combined 8.2M in just the first 12 hours following her performance and $88M MIV (Media Impact Value) which was 27% of the total SB MIV generated during that period

That's basically equivalent to a successful era. She really doesn't have to lift a finger again. :rip:

Having 27% of the MIV and having more than what brands paid for placement in the SB while none of her products were (traditionally) advertised is wild :rip:

I read somewhere that fenty Beauty is doing really well but the clothing line not so much. Hopefully this helps .

The Fenty fashion line was halted after Covid if that's what you mean? Savage is lingerie and sportswear and it's doing really well.

MIV = Media Impact Value

27% is actually insane considering how many commercials aired during the Superbowl :rip:

Yeah I know and mentioned it in the OP

I put it in the title to draw people in :eli:

It's been a terrible few weeks for her haters and it doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon :wanda:

What does that even mean though?

It means that if she had to pay to reach that amount of people, she’d be paying $88M in ads, PR, etc

As impressive as it sounds, it’s not.
Advertising costs are so ridiculously inflated, it’s unreal.

Basically. Maybe I should have put the actual money she earned in the title instead given the confusion over MIV

Except she didn't pay a cent to advertise. Also she earned 8.2M in the first 12 hours following the performance. That is impressive, and that MIV kicked in and brought in more sales after the twelve hour period.

She’ll get a nice sales boost for her brands. I hope this helps her realize that her music and businesses go hand in hand. If she can return to music, it will also positively serve her brands. :clap3:

A queen nevertheless, my point was more about advertising costs being related to the costs of diamonds = imaginary inflated BS
