Miley scores first radio #1. Her biggest radio hit in past 9 years was Malibu (#27).

Featured Replies

Flowers becomes her first airplay #1. She only had 3 top 10 radio hits (2 from 2009 and 1 from 2013 beforehand :rip:)

Radio looked like they were done with her post-Wrecking Ball in November 2013 - her biggest radio hit post-Wrecking Ball was Malibu at #27 charting on radio for 8 weeks.

Airplay Peaks:

See You Again - #11 (22 weeks) - May 2008

The Climb - #7 (28 weeks) - July 2009

Party in the USA - #8 (23 weeks) - November 2009

Can't Be Tamed - #52 (4 weeks) - June 2010

We Can't Stop - #15 (16 weeks) - September 2013

Wrecking Ball - #4 (20 weeks) - November 2013

23 - #59 (2 weeks) - December 2013

Adore You - #50 (1 week) - March 2014

Malibu - #27 (8 weeks) - July 2017

Nothing Breaks Like a Heart - #45 (7 weeks) - February 2019

Midnight Sky - #40 (7 weeks) - October 2020

Prisoner - N/A

Flowers - #1 (Weeks: 5) - February 2023

Does radio love her again?

Making history for herself at this stage of her career and still only about to enter her 30s :clap3:

WCS peaked so low wtf

The media really hated her :skull: If streaming was like it was now, it would have done even better. (unfortunately prob still blocked by Blurred Lines :skull:) ) Plus she was one of the first Disney girls to get airplay. The Climb and PITUSA should have done even better than they did.

this is so... :deadbanana4:

even 23 - #59 (2 weeks) - December 2013 is shocking! The song was a HIT and radio ignored it. :skull:

Radio ignoring Miley’s great songs like Midnight Sky, NBLAH, and Prisoner is sending me :deadbanana4: she did not deserve that at all

And Flowers is still growing like crazy with the biggest radio update of yesterday. :deadbanana4:

It makes you wonder how high she'll go.

like WHAT :toofunny2:

and Slide Away not even being sent... RCA truly the root of all evil

the way Nothing Breaks Like a Heart, Midnight Sky and Prisoner are radio stables here in EU, while they completely bombed in the US radio :deadbanana2:

Easier to peak higher on pop radio than overall radio

Miley didn't have as much backing outside of one or two formats but now she's legending so she'll have more radio support.

the climb, party in the USA, Wrecking ball being certified classics.

We can't stop, 23 and malibu serving cult classics

See you again I guess a teen classic if you were young back then you'd know it I'm sure.

FLowers about to give her a 4th certified classic.
