idk if she acknowledges it tbh, she keeps talking about when she started out..

I feel so bad for her. She should be a massive star but even though she has big hits she's still kind of a nobody. And that probably won't ever change.

And that’s ok!!

bebe rexha you will never be famous

Spoiler

JK :bird:

She's still 100x more successful than 99% of ppl who try to make it in the entertainment industry. she shouldn't worry too much and let petty online ppl bother her about it :rip:

People have been saying this about her since like 2015 and somehow she still stays here :jonny4:

maybe she'll experience a jeniffer coolidge-like renaissance in the nearish future? but yeah i feel for her tbh :rip:

I do feel bad for her but at the same time she has written plenty of hits so it's not like she in the verge of bankruptcy :rip: like maybe her solo songs don't do as good but she's still rich, so :michael:

She is a songwriter first and foremost. Penned hits for others, but garnered a few of her own as well. Respect to her :clap3: It's more admirable because not only does she enjoy writing but she enjoys performing as well and is very interested in the music business and not just about penning quick little mindless hits for money in writing camps or something. She shouldn't be too hard on herself. She has a gay fanbase, which are very loyal to a point, and she has a current hit (I'm Good). She should keep doing what she's doing.

This

Multi faceted talent :clap3:

I agree the part that people cannot grasp of Bebe because her sound is all over the place. It is not distinct enough.

Bebe used to have an identify with her EP days but she gradually lost when she started scoring hits

She's more like a Sia type of artist. Wrote many hits for others and have a few hits of their own. She's like a song writer first, singer second.

I blame TikTok for giving her, GAYLE, Ava Max, and other artists like them a false sense of their success in the industry

People keep saying they feel bad for her, but like... her situation kind of seems like a win-win to me :rip: She's had a TON of radio hits as a songwriter, and radio songwriting royalties are where most of the money still is in the music industry (besides touring). So she's probably very financially comfortable and doesn't have to fully deal with all the annoyances that come with being a famous celebrity. Kinda seems like an ideal life tbh.

I've known about this woman for a decade now and I still know nothing about Bebe as an artist. I used to check for her because she had bops for days but it's kind of insane. Her songwriter-turned-singer peers Meghan Trainor and Sia who broke out at a similar time managed to carve out musical identities and success for themselves, it's too bad she couldn't.

i mean if she was able to get a pretty stable career in the entertainment industry so she’s winning regardless, famous or not

I don’t even like her music but she has a diamond single in the US and just has a UK smash this year. There’s no “false sense” of success, she’s successful
