Charli was able to get her first ever top 10 album  with Crash while having no hits from the era and no sizeable hits since 2014, while Ava's sophomore album didn't even crack the top 30 but has had huge hits in the US and WW in more recent years.

I love Ava, but Charli is definitely bigger.  She did what she had to, cultivated a dedicated fanbase, and branched out.  She probably won't score pop hits herself but she is a known presence in pop music.

 Obviously. Charli’s cult following is huge and so loyal. That’s what Ava lacks is a cult following and considerable respect in an artistic sense. Charli’s done a lot for music and is very established.

Ava is bigger among the GP and has huge radio hits, but Charli has a MASSIVE dedicated fanbase, can sell out shows, and absolutely everyone knows I Love It.

Ava seems bigger for radio hits but they’re faceless. She’s not a household name. Neither is Charli in that regard but she has a sizeable fan base to keep her afloat and give her stable numbers.

Charli also had her radio hits lol GP might not know her name, but if you were alive in the mid-2010s you know I Love It, Fancy and Boom Clap. She just transitioned to a niche pop artist with a strong fanbase to rest upon, which is what Ava desperately needed for her latest project and failed
