Fyi, Belo Horizonte doesn’t receive tourists for its Carnaval. It’s not Rio, Salvador, Recife or Olinda.

Of course it receives. 5M is the estimated attendance and the population isn't even 3M. 

Did I miss something?  Did the US colonize Belo Horizonte?  How come so many people know an artist local to the US?  Make it make sense because ATRL would never lie.

Someone that I know just posted an insta story with a random British lady, so there might be a few. I've also seen people from different capitals like Brasília and Curitiba. 

 

Accommodation in other cities is really expensive during carnival week and in BH it remains somehow cheap. So this is a possibility.
