Because Boomers has become an internet slang for "old, outdated people" and Millenials and Gen Z are the active users on the Internet

Some of these are Boomers, and came out when Boomers were in their 20s/30s.

you wouldn't say that to me in person.

This. Mid-to-late Gen X in particular was very lost as a generation, so much so that their apathy culminated in an unjustified rage leading to Columbine and Woodstock '99. After that, the sun set on Gen X.

 

They had nothing to strive for, and that ultimately just made them mad. The Boomer had fierce competition, Millennials had a horrendous economy, Gen Z is the most political active generation since the Boomers. Gen X had none of that.

They just had to finish high school, get a job immediately, climb their way to an insanely good salary and buy a house without any problems

I mean they were the ultimate rebels. Music business wanted you to buy albums. They were like f_ck that we will digitally share them and they created Napster . Big business wanted you to buy stuff in stores they were like. F_ck that I'll buy my TV online and created Amazon. They were like I want to market myself globally but I don't want to leave my house so they created Myspace. They were like why does my cell phone only take phone calls so they created the Iphone. They were like why why do we need to use this clunky internet explorer so they created Google. They were like let me creat video blogs so they created YouTube. 

 

Like sweetie, we love our lives in things they created.

Those are boomers. Gen X were in diapers or unborn during that.

They owned land before 30 and couldn’t care less about being “irrelevant”. They’re on their way to fully paid retirement, good luck booking that in 30 years, Gen Z.

This weird generation brainrot that manifests in ths form of "generation gap" will never not be a good reminder that despite technological advancement, humanity is still very much barely passed stone age.

 

Gen z are fine, smarter than millennials who're more concerned with becoming their parents but with even less money.

Guys it is really not hard to google and look what years each gen is

 

Anyway, I'd argue (at least musically) that generation had some of the best music of their time (late 80s and 90s) from rave culture to hip hop, it really paved the way for millennials imo
