Sad tbh, probably the least evil president this country’s had in many decades

So sad. 98 is still a lot of life though which is nothing to be sad about.

He has lived a long life and continued to help build houses until recently. I hope he isn't in pain and his final days will be happy ones.

Ohh, that's sad  I wish more of our modern US political leaders were like Jimmy Carter.

World leaders are usually older people. So that is quiet a surprise a 1970s president is still with us in 2023.

don't worry, some americans can't even point out their country on a map so...

he was healthy until very recently. He had an amazing life and he was a good guy. may he rest in peace (when the time comes soon)

Sad but he’s lived a great, long life. 

NO. Not Legend JC... he always seemed like a genuinely good person and a good president.

not gonna lie, i saw this on CNN at the gym and thought it was the guy that invented Peanut Butter 

Ttuly a great man. I hope his final days are his best
