Tina Fey announces which original Mean Girls stars will return for the musical

Tina Fey just revealed that in addition to adapting the musical version of her 2004 film Mean Girls into its own movie, she'll also be reprising her role of Ms. Norbury. And she's not the only OG cast member returning.

"Me and Tim Meadows are gonna be back," she announced during her Feb. 16 appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers. "We couldn't age out, teachers work forever."

Fellow Saturday Night Live alum Tim portrayed Principal Duvall in the original movie. Additionally, Tina gave further details about the cast of the Paramount+ film, which she said starts shooting in March.

Reneé Rapp is playing Regina, that quote sounds a bit messy reading like that but she meant to say she's both (she's from Sex Lives and also a popstar)

Renee Rapp will have her breakout moment in this. Sabrina and Olivia could literally never handle that role

the show is honestly really good...Broadway critics had their **** to say, but at least half the songs are bops and the comedy just builds on the movie when it's delivered right.

this is gonna flop or be like a nonevent imo, unless Paramount+ suddenly grows a lot or is integrated/partners w a bigger service soon

 

 

anyway they literally have Amanda saying she'd like to be a part of this (teacher role would be perfect) and yet
