Saw this trailer the other day in front of The Quiet Place Day 1 and it looked interesting & fun!

This was a very enjoyable watch actually BUT

The final scene pissed me off so bad 

he had already gotten away twice and it was starting to get cheesy, and then he gets an asspull for the THIRD time in 30 minutes… it felt so cheap

It's a weak 7/10 for me

 

The girl who played Lady Raven is so gorgeous though  and her songs kinda bopped a little bit… Jocelyn from The Idol got some competition

Hope Josh Hartnett gets more work though. He's good with what he's given and his random shirtless scene, oh-

 

Shayamalan is just such a strange director  I like some of his movies but he has some of the most awkward acting choices and idk something like this could've been a killer movie but it just felt off

I had so much fun with this. It's not perfect but it's almost campy and it knows it. I'd watch it again

I really really enjoyed this. I actually thought that not having a twist was a nice change for the director. Lady Raven has some nice bops but gurrrl that girl could not act to save her life.

Lady raven actress was horrible and her face seemed fake at times, especially her eyes.

 

There was no shock or awe. Needed a twist and also it felt cheap

no i actually think it takes itself too seriously and doesn't even try to be silly or camp and lacks the self awareness  the two scenes

His movies aren't that high-budget so it's easy to break even. Which is all that matters for studios

Why couldn´t Josh Hartnett just... lie to the police? They weren't even sure of what the killer looked like because they had conflicting descriptions of him. I don't even understand why the police was so sure the killer was in the concert when all they had was an anonymous tip about a ticket in some random apartment, but ok. When the daughter mentioned the tattoos in the Lady Raven merchadising I thought he was gonna put one on top of his real one, lol.

 

Why did Lady Raven not call 911 in the bathroom? Why did she cut off the livestream instead of letting her millions of followers watch what was going on in there!?

Shyamalan remains a talented director for genre popcorn flicks and he could totally have a renaissance if he got over himself, tasked more talented people with the screenwriting job and settled for "based on an original idea by M. Night Shyamalan" instead of self-writing these shoddy scripts.

 

The entire part set at the arena was such a silly and clumsy mess and the second part was also littered with outlandishness.
