Hector Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 (edited) During the summer of 1999, an 18-year-old amateur ballroom dancer has an unexpected and intense 24-hour romance with a friend's older brother. Just finished watching the movie and loved it. The ending gave me so many feels especially with how open ended it was. If I were to describe this movie without spoiling it, it's like a mix between Weekend, Moonlight, and Call Me By Your Name. Definitely a must watch and one with good replay value. vuelve88 Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 Are they really close friends or just roommates?

fais_2311 Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 Open ended sounds like a light version of sad ending. So I don’t think my heart can afford this
Dark Phoenix Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 Added on my waitlist on Letterboxd! Hopefully I’ll be able to catch it on cinemas (or VOD).
UnusualBoy Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 I may watch but it looks like any other gay movie.

Mason Gooding Posted March 15, 2023 Posted March 15, 2023 I wasn’t expecting much going into this one but it just ended up being probably in my top 5, truly a nostalgia-driven masterpiece
Smarticle Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 watching the first half hour and their banter/flirting in an australian accent? omg how is the main actor supposed to play a 17 year old though pls the way the gay panic set in
Smarticle Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 oh wow this movie feels like if CMBYN had wrapped up the ending of the two characters, though it's kinda **** how they ended it, there's never a 'good' ending with how these films play out
