A family from my city was there, and I was flabbergasted when I told my mom that and the look in her face was that of a heartbreak; I thought she knew most of the cases were pure acting :deadbanana2:

If you’re a poor 50+ year old housewife who spends 80% of her waking day in the kitchen and by the tv then yes. Otherwise this is an example of the toxic media reinforcing the already tragic stereotype of a latinx.

I can still remember the smell of my grandmother's rice, beans and pernil just thinking about this show and the memories attached lol.

The OG "Sala de Parejas" where every episode they'd beat the **** out of each other and break that window panel >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

But I'd be lying if I said that "Caso Cerrado" wasn't iconic.  I mean, come on now.  It's a legendary show :clap3:

How is being misogynistic any better? Lol.

OT: One of. It's also such a entertaining show and it helped me a lot in reducing stress / pain in quarantine and other difficult times.

How’s that misogynistic? A big portion of the latin population actually lives like that. Not shocking Televisa and their tragic telenovelas and rosas de guadalupe have such a firm grip on the low income portion of society. And before you call me racist I’m born and raised in Mexico. I know what I’m talking about, do you?

I think Laura's show was more iconic but this is up there, so messy.
