MexicanLiLMonster Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 Definitley iconic and a latino household staple show lol
Zeferino Posted February 19, 2023 Posted February 19, 2023 (edited) A family from my city was there, and I was flabbergasted when I told my mom that and the look in her face was that of a heartbreak; I thought she knew most of the cases were pure acting Edited February 19, 2023 by Zeferino Minor tweaks
Julián Posted February 19, 2023 Posted February 19, 2023 Yes. Estúpida mi pelo idiota and Moon/Luna getting dragged live in every latino's mind rent free
Mr.Link Posted February 20, 2023 Posted February 20, 2023 (edited) If you’re a poor 50+ year old housewife who spends 80% of her waking day in the kitchen and by the tv then yes. Otherwise this is an example of the toxic media reinforcing the already tragic stereotype of a latinx. Edited February 20, 2023 by Mr.Link
Ricardo1993 Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 I can still remember the smell of my grandmother's rice, beans and pernil just thinking about this show and the memories attached lol.

andresg770 Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 The OG "Sala de Parejas" where every episode they'd beat the **** out of each other and break that window panel >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> But I'd be lying if I said that "Caso Cerrado" wasn't iconic. I mean, come on now. It's a legendary show

It's also such a entertaining show and it helped me a lot in reducing stress / pain in quarantine and other difficult times.

A big portion of the latin population actually lives like that. Not shocking Televisa and their tragic telenovelas and rosas de guadalupe have such a firm grip on the low income portion of society. And before you call me racist I’m born and raised in Mexico. I know what I’m talking about, do you?
UnusualBoy Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 I think Laura's show was more iconic but this is up there, so messy.
