Not shoving anyone in front of me. What is happening is terrible and absolutely wrong.
But corporations have explored minorities far too much in the past while making things worst for all of us.
Things will just get worse if we continue screaming “yaaas dIVErsItY!” while they change a mermaid skin colour to black and tackle 10 unnecessary gay characters in a show. I don’t need a million dollar corp’s pity while they profit off me. 
 

While we demand black mermaids, REAL STUFF is happening in the world and that stuff is making it worse for all of us. Complain to the government, riot, etc… demand representation in real life, don’t ask for it in children’s plays. It will just backfire.

That's an interesting approach, but definitely not a fan of the statement "most likely not 100% gay" when being gay = exclusively attracted to the same sex which means if you are gay you are simply 100% gay and it's not something rare in the slightest to warrant the "most likely not to be" title.

What would you call me, then? I have a boyfriend. And I've dated girls in the past. I used to be emotionally and physically attracted to women, then was attracted to men and women emotionally and physically, and now I'm romantically and physically attracted to men but only physically attracted to women. And I identify as queer or gay. I don't think I'm 100% gay or "exclusively" attracted to the same sex. 

 

My anecdote aside, what do you say to men or women that have experimented with the same sex and now identity with another sexuality? Or what do you say to people that have a romantic attraction to one sex, but an emotional attraction to another? 

 

I truly don't think sexuality is as black-and-white as you are making it out to be.

The problem is that we as the community are not united.

 

Just look how quickly everyone among our community was quick to throw the trans community under the bus to enjoy the new HP game, financially supporting anything HP-related gives direct benefit to JKR no matter how you spin it because it expands the HP brand more and more and gives a platform for more HP related stuff in the future = helps her get richer and richer. 

 

If LGBT people actually were united on this front the entire narrative on this would be completely different

 

And this is just the most recent example. Most successful gay men that are influencers are shallow/vain misogynistic and generally terrible humans that do not care about issues lesbian/trans people face and the same can be said about your average gays. 

 

And then when we get to stuff like internal racism, fatphobia and etc it gets even worse

 

 

So expecting to fight an external war while we are fighting our internal one is actually hopeless

Let’s expand on this, for trans youth, would you prefer they be forced to endure puberty and dysmorphia leading them to suicide, or would you prefer they be forced into conversion therapy and taught to hate themselves, and then commit suicide later? Or do you have a third option in mind? I’m sure conservatives would love your input on getting rid of trans people faster, that way they can change focus to gay people more quickly
