Oh the album isn’t coming soon yet. Maybe summer the earliest.

It was always going to be summer. June would be great, assuming she will do plenty of Pride shows.

All She Wants would be perfect to be released during Pride :WAP:

Yup, she said she would complete it this month and then release it during summer. At least that’s the plan

She better include some “woo-ah!” In the album. I miss that in her songs :dancehall:

If she's indeed adding songs in German to the tracklist then she's making it personal personal  :clap3:

I don't mind really and it makes me even more interested but that tracklist will be a mess and a half :bibliahh:

What song was this? Dark Part of Your Heart? bc it got taken down whatever it was... does that mean it's gonna be on the tracklist ??? they seem to be taking everything down. Album is def being prepped.

She played it for her UK label the other day and just made history at the Grammys. Unholy is STILL smashing (#4 this week on Hot 100) so this is her year. There's no better time than now and I think Republic knows that firmly. Get ready y'all.

Exactly. It's a now or never moment. It has to be now

I'll believe it when I'd be able to press play on Spotify, otherwise...

Kim Petras' new album is expected to be released in June 2023.

"It's going to be a statement about the music industry in general, a theme I like to play with. I've worked with some incredible people, such as Max Martin, the genius Swedish producer. And with other great people like producer Ian Kirkpatrick or the singer Banks, who I'm a big fan of. I've met a lot of new people, had new experiences, experienced new writing styles. And I'm really happy that people see that I don't limit myself to one style of writing. I can do a lot of things. On the Turn Off The Light album, I was playing a completely different character, with a very gothic and bloody Halloween aesthetic. On **** Pop (2022), I was just a "real b*tch.""

"This record took two or three years to make and it's very special to me. I recorded a lot of songs and ended up working with a major label, which is very different than being independent, like I was before. Now, I still do what I want to do, like when I was independent, but I'm looking to make a well-crafted album from A to Z. Honestly, I don't think there's a song on it that can't be the single. Which is very exciting."

I have an album that's coming out this summer, and some singles that I'm really, really excited about. I've been working on this album for three years. It's been a transition – wow I’m really good at transitioning. It's been a transition from being an independent artist to being at a major label now. And obviously, life has changed quite a bit since then. I have a wonderful team that really wants me to make my best work. So I'm just excited about people hearing this music – I listen to my own music all the time, it’s so lame, but it’s gonna be really really fun.

Her most personal album yet

I hate when artists say this, it almost ALWAYS ends up being a panned flop (critically, commercially, and within the fandom) and the artist later detracts their high opinion of it. Just give us the original PROBLÉMATIQUE babes.

But she just finished the album, would it already be circling around?

With that said, I have no idea how BOZ gets all these information, so maybe it is Kim :skull:

If you take a look at her discography it's the same 5 topics recycled into worse formats every time... Out've all people in the industry you'd think she'd have more interesting experiences to sing and write about yet she keeps coming back to the sl*tty sugar baby anthems. It baffles me

Even with this being labeled as her most personal record I doubt we'll see any new depths from her, IJWAR & Angel Dust seem to be the most interesting topic wise so far

I think Clarity had some personal songs too, while it had her gay clubs anthems at the same time. I hope she finds a balance like this again on the new album

Problématique on the other hand was pretty much about nothing :rip: pure radio fodder with some lyrics that could've been generated by an AI. And i'm not shading it bc it's literally my fav album of 2022 and has like 5k scrobbles on my last.fm but sis truly had nothing to say lyrically with that one... TOTL and SP at least had concepts
