I'm ******* back ! The corrupt mods banned me for posting in a MILEY thread for telling Swifties to please leave the thread if they were gonna complain in here off topic. I have to laugh! The nerve after leaking our private account info. :rip: Anyway, it's good to confirm the ATRL Swifties are perpetual victims like their fave. Following me around and mass reporting me when I even have Eras tickets...

And @mypaintoyou just so I can personally update you, Miley moved up to #3 in Spotify's listeners peaks and passed Ed Sheeran.

Taylor Swift fans are always so freaking pressed, as if they're fave isn't going to end up being the biggest female artist on Billboard 200 history

Frontloaded debut. Midnight is not even outselling Reputation. Yes it's successful but frontloaded.

16 weeks in the top 3 is SO frontloaded you’re right :bird: that must mean every album that didnt spend as many weeks in the top 3 is an absolute and complete bomb :bird:

Yeah it opened higher than 1989 in the first week, context matters. It seems to be slightly or moderately above Folklore but not the  repeak we thought it was. Miley's future album will for sure open lower than Taylor's, I would bet 500$ on that. But on the long run the difference will not be as the big as it is in the first opening week.

While I do agree Miley's fans have been acting a little cocky, it is impressive how Miley achieved these numbers with ONE (1) smash song. Like I don't think we've seen a female artist have a natural/organic smash hit since years ago.

I'm just glad the women-lead era of music is coming back, and Miley having one of the biggest songs of the decade seems right!

you cannot be serious :bibliahh:Acting as if Midnights isn't rapidly approaching 4M just 4 months after release :bibliahh: your comment would only make sense if Midnights had only moved 2M units by now, but even then SZA is still trying to catch up to the 1.5M from release week and that is with a mega smash album :deadbanana4: Miley would need to pull a 21 or a Morgan Wallen to surpass SZA let alone Midnights but sure midnights was front loaded :bibliahh:

at this point i consider anyone who still claims this is an organic success as one of the workers in her streaming farms

The nerve for a Swiftie to call Miley’s HITS unorganic when all of Taylor’s “smashes” are payola fueled :ahh:

Nobody said Miley will pass Midnights.  Just that there is no reason to bring the first week only.

Weren't we all expecting that it will become her second or third most successful era. It does not  even seem to be as big as Reputation.

All those laughing emojis seems that I hit a nerve.

First of all, that user is not a Swiftie :rip:

Secondly, please learn what payola means :toofunny2:

hilarious how it always starts with whoever throwing digs but when they get a response, it's considered as an attack

don't start **** if you can't handle it then victimize yourself, when you accuse others of the same that same exact thing

sorry to break it to you, but... the call is coming from inside the house.

anywho... love that for Miley she really deserves it and hopefully this hype translates to actual album consumption and not get Sam Smith'd

The album is going to be 4x platinum in 4 months. It will end up with 6x platinum by the end of 2023 and 8x platinum by the end of 2025. That's more than reputation will ever reach :deadbanana2:

Laughing emojis were popping out before I brought Reputation. Regardless it seem moderately above Folklore and a good chunk of the difference comes from the first week sales so I was partly right.

Week 16

#2 Midnights - 60k

#10 Folklore - 29k

No and no.

No and no.

Do you consider 25 by Adele frontloaded?

Regardless I stand corrected. But first week sales are not indicative of the overall difference.  Midnight's first week was disproportionately huge compared to her other albums.

I do, to some extend. For its huge first week at least so i see where you are coming from but even considering that Midnights debuted 2x of Folklore, it is also selling 2x of it week by week. Reputation debuted with 1.2M (only 300k less than Midnights) and it was down to #24 at same point.

Even considering its massive first week, it is performing better than any of her albums except 1989
