so you're admitting Flowers is bigger than any Taylor song by this logic? Thank you!

Your fave might be on top but you and your English skills certainly are not. Your capitalistic queen is raking in your hard earned cash while you simp for her on in the internet acting like her achievements are your own. Buy yourself Flowers in 2023 and work on yourself.

OMG I’m sorry I didn’t know this was English class

I apologize.

the joke here is that they think their fav Miley is on the same level as miss swift

these little smilers are delusional but I’ll let them cling on their favs #1 song since it’ll probably be another decade before they get to feel this type of success again that we swifties are used to daily. Miss swift #1 recently this decade 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 🥱

All this success must mean that Ms Cyrus will have the BIGGEST album of the decade by a landslide... I wouldn't expect any less from her, seeing the effortless smash that Flowers is :coffee:

I've got my ticket to the Eras Tour and will be booking my Endless Summer Vacation one too. Sounds like my two faves are better than your one. Stay bitter.

Surely this means she will ECLIPSE midnights numbers and debut with 2M units in the US :clap3:

Taylor swift fans HATE women, especially if they're successful and not named taylor.

Congrats to miley

That’s not how that works sweetie. Taylor’s biggest songs are not able to be compared by a metric like monthly listeners due to Spotify not being this big when they were released. Unless you also want to incorporate now largely defunct metrics like digital sales, but I promise you it will not look good for you then. See how that works?

Or her fans are just celebrating her comeback success? Why do Taylor stans have main character syndrome? (I have Eras tickets so do not AT me). Some of the Swifties need help though.

Did you even read the title of this thread? :deadbanana4:

I didn't expect less with Miley having 600M playlist reach and Flowers alone with 266M playlist reach and placed at #1 in every big playlist.

And if you could buy yourself onto every single playlist and stay there all the big acts would do it.

Miley’s #1 on most playlists because the song climbed there. When the song came out, it was put in the Top 10 of most big playlists to start.

Literally the best lead single from a pop girl in about 2 years

Such a strange song to be a hit in 2023 but love to see women winning. :clap3:

I'm glad the biggest white female artist we have is so raw and full of natural talent and actually in it for the music

Miley ending everyone's faves with just one song :clap3: At least Taylor has her 749 other records to give her comfort

The Taylor meltdowns just because she dropped to #5? :toofunny2: Who cares, that's still good.

She did that only with Flowers? :skull:

It took Taylor several studio albums, the re-recordings and a re-peak with Midnights to get to those monthly listeners.

What does monthly listeners have to do with years old albums? :rip:

That Taylor had to release Folklore, Evermore, Fearles TV, Red TV and Midnights to build up that average of Monthly listeners

While Miley did it only with Flowers since her last album was 3 years ago and was a moderate success

Flowers ending MIDnights just like that

People streaming Folklore in 2020 or Red TV in late 2021 doesn't contribute to Taylor's monthly listeners in November 2022. This is not like followers count.

And singles have much bigger reach than albums when it comes to monthly listeners. If a person streamed Midnights, they most possibly listened Anti Hero but many people who listened Anti Hero probably didn't listen Midnights.

Miley's listeners won't skyrocket when she releases her album either because it won't have bigger reach than Flowers.

Let’s recap, since swifties always want to act up when another female succeeds.

-Miley was breaking records as a 14 years old while Trailer was still putting on a (fake) country accent and singing about exes for attention

-Taylor has exactly zero iconic cultural moments. Everyone remembers Miley cutting off her bun and debuting the blonde pixie cut. Everyone remembers the Wrecking Ball video. Everyone remembers her iconic VMA performance. Everyone remembers Best of Both Worlds intro to Hannah Montana… Where is Taylor’s iconic moment? She’s known for singing about her ex boyfriends for album material, and she’s literally rereleasing those same songs because her boring ass relationship is giving her nothing to sing about.

-Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, knows Party in the USA, The Climb, Wrecking Ball, We Can’t Stop, and now Flowers and sings along when they come on. These are beloved anthems. Party in the USA sells like crazy every 4th of July, Taylor’s hits are forgotten.

-Miley had a Stevie Nicks feature on her album, Taylor embarrassed herself with her non existent vocals while performing with Queen Stevie, enough said.

Swifties are so intimated by women who actually make a cultural impact. Everyone on this planet knows Miley, she’s polarizing, but even when all she was doing was walking her dog and going to pilates the whole world was talking about it. Her having a hit about her ex husband after the world watched their relationship for the last 10 years shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone.

In conclusion: seethe more!

Get it off your chest, Prism user, you certainly know more than most about no iconic moments or being forgotten. :jamming:

Like at least try to make sense with your drags. You literally start by saying in 2006 Taylor was singing about exes for attention, and proceeded to end the drag by saying that's what Miley does in 2023. Like be consistent at least throughout a single post.
