I’m all for Miley’s success and the song is really brilliant, but some of her fans are being super cocky here (and some Swifites are also very affected which is not a good thing at all). However, I’d take consistency any day rather than one massive smash after flopping left and right. Both are impressive but Miley fans should know that Miley can come from being huge to being a flop real quick.

Or her fans are just celebrating her comeback success? Why do Taylor stans have main character syndrome? (I have Eras tickets so do not AT me). Some of the Swifties need help though.

You would expect people on Twitter to not understand what the 'monthly listeners' metric is based on, but people in a music forum where charts and numbers are discussed everyday is kinda funny. "Only with one song", "no remixes" and "no multiple albums" as if listening to a single song once didn't automatically turn you into a 'monthly listener'. Having a single song appealing to a broad demographic makes you grow more than a whole album. That's why this is a metric where Bad Bunny is #14 and David Guetta is #7.

 

Keep it up with the Taylor Swift obsession, though. You still have a long way ahead.

You're nitpicking that post was a testament to how massive flowers' success is...the fact the she got to this peak with only releasing one new song. 

I threw that comment in as a comical response after that user pointed out all of Taylor's efforts to get her peak versus Miley's minimal effort to get her peak. And you can't be the gatekeeper of talent I think Miley is more talented than Taylor.

Imagine bragging about how rich and successful your fave is compared to another woman while posting on ATRL in between shifts at the local restaurant wasting the day's salary on the 8th remix dropped in the last two months. Some stans are delusional.
