The numbers this song is pulling are so weird but good for her I guess :celestial5:

Why is it weird if it is smashing on all platforms?

Good for her, can't wait to see how her album will perform compared to Midnights

I didn't expect less with Miley having 600M playlist reach and Flowers alone with 266M playlist reach and placed at #1 in every big playlist.

Taylor doesn't use playlisting? Also:

It took Taylor several studio albums, the re-recordings and a re-peak with Midnights to get to those monthly listeners.

Not to mention all the remixes and different versions of her songs. Seethe!

Agreed. It is weird. I don't think it's a conspiracy, I genuinely think she's getting her streams, but it really is bizarre how a "viral song" (for lack of better words??) can become so massive. Hopefully more music comes out soon to save us from this slump. I need variety and something new for spring/summer.

All the fuming back handed compliments as if all the other girls havent benefited from the same old tactics before as well (however, failing to reach these heights) :ahh: flowers biggest female pop hit since Hello and she hasn't left the house since release day, must be a hard pill to swallow

I love how a month ago and even still to this day it's "she's bombed for a decade" "not consistent" etc.

but now all of a sudden these numbers are "to be expected"

:lmao:

Well when the song is smashing everywhere and the #1 song in the world, it makes sense it's #1 on public playlists. Suffer!

Now if only she can serve a non-generic, filler-free album, Columbia better be working overtime on those final touches

For years we’ve been told, ‘streaminggg is the future!!!!! sales are DEAD!!!!!’ from radio fueled, playlist bound stanning morons. Now that Miley swoops in after being written off for a decade to take away these precious stats, the records suddenly don’t matter or the numbers are suspicious (mind you, the song has been breaking records for 4 weeks now).

ATRL is such a garbage waste bin :lmao:

Wow the context…it must be truly sobering for some fans.

Drag them! The mental gymnastics I've seen are hilarious.

Monthly listeners is mostly related to the amount of playlisting you got. What matters most is the number of streams.

Wait, when you put it that way :skull:

So happy for Miley though, it's what she deserves :clap3:

Congratulations to Miley. She has had an impressive couple of weeks.  And Congratulations to Taylor for contributing to be the standard.  Women are succeeding once again.  Nature is healing.

These years have been an apology from all the MPGs abandoning us in the dust during 2018 :clap3:
