My hair is curly so i wash it every 1-2 weeks otherwise it gets way too dry. most people regardless of their hair type do not wash their hair everyday anyways...

I shower everyday but only shampoo twice a week. It’s not good for your hair to shampoo it too frequently; it strips your hair of your natural oils and can make your hair very dry

Overwashing hair causes it to dry out. It probably depends on how long your hair is and what hair type you have, but I don't think most people wash their hair every single day.

just white people hair with some curl

but like do you not wash it at all? Do y’all not smell? the smell of hair in general is so unpleasant… like just wash it and use conditioner

I’m so concerned

Yes. I wash my hair with water every day. I only shampoo once every 2 weeks not because im not bothered it's because i want to achieve hair with more volume and waves.

Yes.

I use hair polish all the time so it won't get dry.

No way, i have dry curly hair whenever i wash it with shampoo (every 1 or 2 weeks) it gets like a nest, i can't imagine doing that daily. On the other hand i do use conditioner on it every 2 days or so. I've never experienced oily hair nor smelly hair.

I have heard most people who was their hair daily is because they got oily hair, mine in particular needs oil.

I have hyperosmia

No. I've been told by a lot of people that it's not good to do that to your hair, so I wash it every other day.

Girl, these "wash days" are for black and/or curly, kinkier hair types. :rip:

I don’t have long hair, so yes.

I do. My hair gets too oily, and my scalp too itchy, if I don’t.

Really I shampoo daily

I wash it every other day unless it gets messy from sleeping (which is quite often :rip:) then I wash it just to restyle it.

It gets washed twice daily.

No that’s unhealthy. 1-2x a week is enough.

I have to because it gets messy when sleeping (silk pillowcases help tho). I don’t shampoo every day tho. Just when I feel like I need it which is usually every other day.

If I go to the gym and get sweaty, I wash it that day... but otherwise it's every other day.

I don't wash my hair on the weekend I shave my balls.

I wash my hair whenever I feel really dirty, but generally only once every other day.

Every day or every other day since it’s the winter here in the US and I’m not sweating as much. Maybe 4-5 times a week.

I’m originally from a tropical country though and when I lived there I showered at least once a day or even twice a day because I sweated so much

i’m black so no!
