This movie is rubbish, the director has no talent, and nobody was asking for this.

 

The traction this got is an indication of how bad social media can be for creatives. Something which had no reason for existence was meme'd to death and good horror films that don't come from an established IP got ignored.

I hate this weird trend over the years where essentially jaded adult people just put darker, ****** up spin on the light, happy media they used to enjoy in their childhood. Literally no one is asking for that other than the creators for self-serving reasons.
