The way the show keeps on growing week after week and it went up against the Grammys :clap3:

Episode 4 of "The Last of Us" set yet another series high. 7.5 million viewers tuned into Sunday night's episode, up 17% from the 6.4 million that tuned into Episode 3.

That the show's audience is still growing at this point is an especially impressive feat, as Episode 4 aired on HBO and released on HBO Max during the telecast of the 65th Grammys, which brought in 12.4 million viewers, its highest audience since 2020. Still, a major contingent of viewers chose to watch "The Last of Us" during the awards, or streamed the new episode after the the three-hour-long show.

Additionally of note is that "The Last of Us" is on more rapidly inclining trajectory than "House of the Dragon," which is HBO's most recently comparable series in terms of viewership. Though "House of the Dragon" premiered with almost 10 million viewers and "The Last of Us" has yet to reach that point, it's notable that the cable viewership of "House of the Dragon" dropped significantly by its third episode before steadying out for the rest of its run. (Total viewership including streaming was not available for Episodes 3-9 of "House of the Dragon.")

This is honestly so crazy to me. Every single episode is breakin the record of the previous episode! lmao!

Episode 5 debuts this friday...so it may be the first time the show declines from its previous showing but still this is amazing!

Not The Last of Us being having bigger audience increases than House of The Dragon i- :jonny6:

I was told by IMDB and Metacritic mouth breathers that the show would go broke after they went woke, what happened?

I haven't even watched the first episode yet and I'm so excited, but will binge watch them when the season ends.

The games were incredible.

This episode was nice, lots of nods to the gameplay in it and the themes throughout the games.

HBO keeps winning with the most culturally relevant smashes :jonny: Euphoria, Dragon, Succession, White Lotus and now TLOU

Poor Fadflix, only Wednesday is on that level of cultural impact

Up and up and up. Season 2 will be massive.

I did not care for the first episode, but damn, this show is one of the best things I've seen on TV in a while.

I wonder how many people are waiting to watch until the season is done. That's what I'm doing. I hate waiting week by week to watch a show.

Episode 3 was a huge hit and brought more viewers! Yes gays, yes ratings!

It's kinda taking me back to my youth, watching new episodes of Buffy on Wednesday nights every week. And in this case I don't mind cause every episode is so distinct and a fun thing to chat and theorise about with colleagues and friends :smitten:

I have a feeling that S2 is going to premiere with insane ratings. It’s already crazy how many people keep joining this show each week, so just imagine those that are waiting to binge watch once all the episodes are out and those who’ll watch during the big break between seasons. :rip:
