7.5M US viewers saw 4th episode of The Last Of Us on HBO/HBO Max; new series high

That the show's audience is still growing at this point is an especially impressive feat, as Episode 4 aired on HBO and released on HBO Max during the telecast of the 65th Grammys, which brought in 12.4 million viewers, its highest audience since 2020. Still, a major contingent of viewers chose to watch "The Last of Us" during the awards, or streamed the new episode after the the three-hour-long show.

This is honestly so crazy to me. Every single episode is breakin the record of the previous episode! lmao!

 

Episode 5 debuts this friday...so it may be the first time the show declines from its previous showing but still this is amazing!

It's kinda taking me back to my youth, watching new episodes of Buffy on Wednesday nights every week. And in this case I don't mind cause every episode is so distinct and a fun thing to chat and theorise about with colleagues and friends

I have a feeling that S2 is going to premiere with insane ratings. It’s already crazy how many people keep joining this show each week, so just imagine those that are waiting to binge watch once all the episodes are out and those who’ll watch during the big break between seasons.
