Truthfully, if we were to look at Everybody's family tree, most our female ancestors as recently as a century ago had a whole husband and child by like 14/15. Girls were married off as soon as their cycle began. Obviously that's inappropriate with where we are today, but for the vast majority of human history a woman meant you could have children, not that you were 18 years old.
