enchanted0 Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 I didn’t expect it would be THAT near it’s like you’re sleeping right next to it
YourNumber1Witch Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 Nearby? Absolutely, no question. I love visiting cemeteries. That situation though?? No way
BGKC Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 One of the childhood houses I lived in was next to one. It wasn’t right on the cemetery like that, but it was across the street. It was actually really pretty because there was a lot of beautiful trees that vibrantly changed color during spooky season. It was an otherwise urban environment, so to have that across the street was peaceful.
May Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 absolutely ^.^ its so aesthetic and spooky uwu !! id go there every night and do seances
Afterglow Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 The one in the video isn't a nice one. I'd be so sad and feel bad to o bury someone there.
BtDecember Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 Why would they allow to build residential houses NEXT to a cemetery Not even a road is separating the house from the cemetery To answer your question, NO — the smell alone lol
KillingYourCareer Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 My best friend lives in front of a cemetery and when I go there I don't even think of it, so yes

Bloodflowers. Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 I don't care as long as house is pretty
Gladiator Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 Absolutely. That house looks so nice. I'd move in in a heartbeat.
Leptine Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 I think the issue in this case is not the fact of being "near" a cemetery but it's basically your garden with no physical separation, it's not even fair to the people that go visit there privacy wise. Where I live cemeteries have high walls, you can't see the inside if you're not inside, there are some rules of construction and there is at least a street or garden areas separating from the near houses, so like that it's not an issue at all for me.
TaggedGalaxy Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 Yes I would live near a cemetery, but literally IN the cemetery like that house? Nope
Kamil24 Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 Nearby yes, I just don't want it to be visible from my house.

Subzero Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 In theory sure but in actuality, no. And not because of the dead bodies/potential smells/ghost/etc. reasons one would typically give but because relatives and loved ones like to visit graves and I don't want people around my house all the damn time
ninasayers Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 That house isn't near a cemetery, it's inside one. If that were the case then probably not but if it's just really close to it then yeah, of course.
Mr.Link Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 The people living in cage homes in Hong Kong would buy this without the blink of an eye. I wouldn’t. It goes to show the amount of land literally being wasted on human burials.
velocity Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 ok but i'd be hosting halloween parties every year the house is ugly tho 18 hours ago, Mr.Link said: The people living in cage homes in Hong Kong would buy this without the blink of an eye. Alldeezy Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 Sure I could live like the goth family form the Sims I legit live like down the road from one tbh
Mr.Link Posted February 5, 2023 Posted February 5, 2023 15 hours ago, velocity said: it's not wasted wtf Yes it is. Why would you dedicate a piece of land solely for a human individual to be buried in for all eternity? At least houses can be bought and sold and rebuilt for newer generations…
Robert Posted February 5, 2023 Posted February 5, 2023 (edited) Not that close but I lived in an apartment across the road from a cemetery in uni and it was a really nice student flat. Edited February 5, 2023 by Robert
