ALA Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 If the new Superman movie is a Marveled Man of Steel anyways, I was a big DC supporter but this is just a mess. Good luck though. I'm sure they'll manage to do some good films but I'm not confident at all.
chris1991 Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 I do believe this is going to be a hard reboot with the release of the new Superman. They can’t throw away 3-4 of the films set to release this year! They’re being strategic by giving them a normal rollout imo. Keeping the remaining talent happy! Imagine the additional mess if they announced those filed basically don’t matter anymore. Shazam is going to do mid numbers so no loss there. After the other two are out, I really doubt that they’re going to continue with Jason, Gal etc.
Gorjesspazze9 Posted February 2, 2023 Posted February 2, 2023 Grace is right, you can tell WB is out of money with this presentation tho. No slide shows or good visuals to reveal the slate. I understand it’s too early for teasers or sizzle reels since most of the projects aren’t even written or casted yet. But even if they did something similar to Ryan Reynolds Deadpool 3 video, it would have given this more excitement. Nothing DC is trending and it’s been less then 24 hours💀 Grace is right, DC fans don’t show up or support regardless of all the complaints on twitter everyday. I hope they really use that last remaining HBO money on Green Lantern right. That sounds like it will be thier best project on the tv side. Batman once again will overshadow everyone in film. the more I think about it the more this slate feels average. But it’s too early to judge too much, so we will see
Love Drought Posted February 2, 2023 Posted February 2, 2023 The Batman Part II and the Lanterns are the only promising projects I look forward to. But I’m willing to give Superman a chance.

I stand with you. Why? Because is enough is enough. I only care for Reeves DC movies moving forward.
jpsketch Posted February 2, 2023 Posted February 2, 2023 Some of y'all are not DC fans. This slate is incredibly exciting and inspires a lot of confidence in me. I haven't paid attention to the DC movies all that much since Man of Steel, but it feels like we finally have a vision AND someone who actually understands these characters.
That Bad Eartha Posted February 2, 2023 Posted February 2, 2023 Though Damian is pretty low on my list of incarnations of Robin, I'm definitely interested in the Brave and the Bold one. I've been hoping Batman in live action could start to move away from the hyper-realistic gritty versions of him and incorporate more of the Bat Family and maybe more super-powered villains. I just hope the movie drops us into a universe where Dick Grayson exists and is already Nightwing and that Damian isn't presented as the first and only Robin for the movie universe.
Outside789 Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 The fact we have a ''Wonder Woman'' tv show, and WW will not be part of it. While she has no movie mentioned in this new universe. As usual, WB and DC prove how much they love to trash WW and give her the short end of the stick.

SayCart1991 Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 Why do producers always do this ****?! Why do they announce literally everything before it's even close to being ready when no one has any clue if even the first project is going to be successful in the first place? Does anyone remember the whole slate Universal had set up for their Monster-verse? Look what happened once they released their first project, The Mummy... It flopped miserably and the rest of the future projects were canned. Similar thing with The Rock talking constantly about how Black Adam was only the beginning of many things to come... and now... welp.
Superbitch Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 Gal Is truly gone ww84 was so bad ugh if only it would’ve been as good as the 1st one

DC worked only as standalone movies, Shazam, batman, aquaman, they worked because they just popped out. Now we know movies till like 2025? no one will wait that long and be excited. they needed to keep it quiet. release like 4 movies that are slightly connected and then quietly merging them into one universe

Now would have been the perfect time to introduce movies about magic and demons and hell. It's has never been a better time to introduce that to DC movies. It is extremely popular right now with shows like Sandman and Lucifer that were just recent so big on Netflix. Lucifer himself can be a huge movie for DC. A better Constantine could also be huge for DC.
yourfaveisaflop Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 i hate james gunn. not excited for any of this. as long as dc keeps giving us animated films ill be happy
SinnerCity Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 I'm here only for the batman sequel, the rest of this cinematic universe is so messy, full of reboots every 5 years, exhausting.
Guest Posted February 5, 2023 Posted February 5, 2023 Superman can be Steven Universe but for a bigger audience, mos underperformed because people don't want an edgy superman
