JustLikeHoney Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 Wouldn't mind this at all. Paramount+ is a great service IMO. I'm super happy with the Discovery shows that moved to HBOMax like Trixie Motel. Now I get to have Showtime on Paramount too.
scenekiller Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 I had gotten Paramount + Showtime bundled for $9.99 a month last year - does anything state if I'll lose that bundle, or if my price will go up to keep it?

JonginBey Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 Is this a win? I’m still unsure of which streaming service to go to after I dump Netflix
magazine Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 No one knows Showtime Just let the Paramount name shine by itself.

EnigmaticAndroid Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 Great merge Showtime quietly has a great catalog- Shameless, Dexter, Homeland, Yellowjackets, Penny Dreadful, Ray Donovan, Queen as Folk, The Affair, etc. And P+ will probably get a bunch of A24's catalog as part of the deal, which would be massive get for any of the streamers.
Harmonizer Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 Okay, this is a win, unlike Discovery and HBOMax

andresg770 Posted January 31, 2023 Posted January 31, 2023 Ooh, I hope I get the Showtime shows (I still have my original "Limited Commercials" plan, which apparently doesn't exist anymore)! Maybe I'll finally finish Nurse Jackie They should've called it "Paramount+ feat. Showtime" for that MTV nostalgia, though

Paramount+ doesn't have as much content as HBO Max nor Netflix, and of course not even close to Prime. Showtime will help a bit, it still won't be that much plus with extra cost. But its an improvement.
SitarHero Posted January 31, 2023 Posted January 31, 2023 Was crossing my fingers so hard that this would happen before Yellowjackets S2 so I didn't have to sign up for Showtime, I won
