TrueBlood Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 MOTS I was overhated, but I still hope this volume is going to be better.

Kirby Kirbs Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 Give us another lowkey & synthy album, kings
Gladiator Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 I was hoping that they were going to release a new album. MOTS is the worst album they ever put out and such a disappointing follow up to Everyday Life. I hope this one is much, much better, despite being a second volume.

No idea, but the SNL gig is definitely suspicious. 23 minutes ago, Kirby Kirbs said: Give us another lowkey & synthy album, kings I think they might release "A Wave" in this album. The song is used at the ending credits of every show and it makes me so emotional

BlackoutZone Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 Hope it's more exciting than Part 1 Honestly I don't even care, just give me another masterpiece like Coloratura

I don't care if it is long, would be worth them cutting 2-3 other songs if they had to to do it, or at least do an abridged version

I was sad I missed them on the tour, but this eased the pain a bit. It is easily one of their best in years and absolute prime-coldplay level track. Whatever possessed them, we need more of it. It doesn't even feel like that long when you listen to it, very well crafted

It would have made the perfect show closer too, but they are closing with Biutyful of all things
ATRL Moderator Verge of Obscene Posted January 27, 2023 ATRL Moderator Posted January 27, 2023 MOTS is hated a little too much. Coloratura, Higher Power, Humankind, Let Somebody Go, People of the Pride, all great cuts. that’s more than half the album if you discard the interludes. I just feel it needed a few more tracks added.
gplcarlos Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 I hope this album brings something more "daring" like Coloratura.

I would really like to have it on tour as well but imagine how frustrating it must be for an artist having the crowd dead for 10 whole minutes Edited January 27, 2023 by gustavothehuman
Where are you now? Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 Every time they say they’re retiring and it’s their last album, they announce a new album.
Starkboy Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 I haven't enjoyed a whole project of them since Ghost Stories ngl. (even if even that was a downgrade compared to Mylo Xyloto). but they keep releasing some good songs sometimes
