People love conflict. That' is not exclusive to gays.

 

And it's something to discuss. People want things to discuss and debate over. And they choose pop girls because they just so happen to be familiar with them.

Sometimes it's exaggerated like when someone recently during an interview preferred beyoncé over rihanna in regards to her super bowl performance...But most of the time, it's because of direct competition and when female celebs are mean to each other sometimes , that's a fact, just like the recent jlo's comment about xtina, if it was xtina, she would have easily and clearly said they got jlo instead with her gentle laugh without sounding f**** insecure, but yeah it takes a secure/confident person to do that..
