Should you be able to copyright AI content? If so, who owns it? The person who created the AI? The person who typed in a few words? The person whose work it mimics? Should I be able to create an entire Rihanna album and put it on Spotify?

It depends on Spotify policies, but you should not be legally liable for uploading AI content on the internet. It makes no sense. And how are they going to enforce it anyway?

Record labels could just make completely new albums for artists that have passed away. :rip: Scary :deadbanana4:

Ok but this is actually the future of mainstream music. Fans and music producers will create songs and then use the AI voices of popular artists like they’re vocaloids or some ****. And the GP isn’t going to know the difference if these songs go viral on TikTok. Artists will be competing with themselves :deadbanana4:

It’s going to be so bad. There are no federal laws regulating AI in this country, and I doubt anything that addresses this will be passed in the next two years.

This is sum dystopian world sh*t :deadbanana2:

Imagine the Frank Sinatra x WAP song becomes a huge smash and gets 3 billion views on YouTube. Do you not think Cardi B or team Sinatra should earn a single cent from that?

When you think about, the AI probably can play every instrument under the moon, has all the advance knowledge of musical theory, harmonic combos that sound best to the ears and all the musical data being fed to it ; therefore, it is inevitable that it’ll write and compose better songs than some girls wkjwjshehhd

The great (and chaotic and terrifying) future is right upon us, right in front of our eyes, this generation :clap3:

We will be no longer need our lazy pop girls to give us new music :clap3: bye Gaga, bye Ari. At least Lana is consistent with feeding us new music and never leave is too hungry.

The future of it is just giving AI instructions like ''Create a new Britney song'' and it just gives u that immediately w/ new instrumentals, new lyrics etc. Something like that already exists from what I remember but it's faaaarr from perfect

The only good thing about this is that it's satisfy our "What If..." situations like Kylie Minogue sing "Toxic" or Rihanna sing "We Can't Stop". But other than that this is really bad :rip:

This is so scary, with deep fakes and AI getting so prevalent throughout the last decade and with how far we have come, iRobot becoming a reality can be decade(s) away :chick3:

Oh well, humanity had a good run y'all

Honestly, it’s so scary that it can take any vocal DNA and apply it to any framework. The future of cyber security is going to be frightening
