The fan favorite Apple TV Plus musical series Schmigadoon! will return on April 7, set in the theatrical world of Schmicago.

 

The first season celebrated the musicals of Broadway's Golden Age. Season two will find protagonists Josh (Keegan-Michael Key) and Melissa (Cecily Strong) stuck in a world of musicals from the 1960s and 1970s. It will feature new songs from co-creator/executive producer Cinco Paul.

 

In addition to Key and Strong, the second season will feature returning stars Ariana DeBose, Martin Short, Dove Cameron, Jaime Camil, Kristin Chenoweth, Alan Cumming, Ann Harada, Jane Krakowski, and Aaron Tveit are set to return, with Tituss Burgess and Patrick Page joining the cast. The show is cocreated by Paul and Ken Daurio.

Adored the first season, and am so excited for season 2. I’m absolutely floored by the concept of every time they enter the world, it will represent a different era of musicals

Yay! Honestly, this era is my favourite type of musicals so I'm hyped beyond believe.

Same! Cabaret is one of, if not, my favorite musical of all time (I still get floored thinking about its last broadway run ) so I'm floored

I’ve been trying so hard to get tickets to see it in London atm, but it’s so expensive and I cannot win the lottery for the life of me!
