It’s a bittersweet day for fans of iconic TV redheads: We now know when the final seasons of Riverdale and Nancy Drew will air.

First up is Riverdale, which kicks off its time-bending seventh season on Wednesday, March 29 at 9/8c, following a new episode of The Flash. Nancy Drew‘s fourth and final outing then begins on Wednesday, May 31 at 8 pm, taking over The Flash‘s time slot.

Riverdale‘s final season consists of 20 episodes, while Nancy Drew’s totals 13. Both shows’ series finales will air on Wednesday, Aug. 23.

Riverdale Synopsis

Picking up where last season ended, Jughead Jones finds himself trapped in the 1950s. He has no idea how he got there, nor how to get back to the present. His friends are no help, as they are living seemingly authentic lives, similar to their classic Archie Comics counterparts, unaware that they’ve ever been anywhere but the 1950’s.”

Riverdale was due like in s3 to end :rip: so im not mad about it.

I love nancy drew tho so it makes me sad.

They're ending all these shows.. But barely releasing new ones..

Whats the point? What will they broadcast?

There are still new episodes of riverdale and the flash??? :skull:

No shade to miss Barry Allen/Grant Gustin. I actually loved the first 2 seasons but then fell off. I just thought I saw a bunch of “end of the flash” articles years ago already… also grant and naya will forever be iconic for that smooth criminal performance

as for riverdale, nothing needs to be said except how????

They premiered The Winchesters this year which I think will probably get renewed.  Walker: Independence should have never happened lol.

Gotham Knights is a new show premiering after Superman & Lois this season.  They should have just brought back Legends of Tomorrow and Batwoman for final seasons

River dale should’ve been axed 2-3 seasons ago. The immediate decline from season 1 still makes me sad 😔

honestly though this whole red wedding that the network did to itself was so uncalled for. it was a tragic day for fans of the network. so brutal and disrespectful to do that to the cast and crew

maybe if they weren't cancelling worthwhile projects the network wouldn't be in the state that it 's in now
